Full Description

Shri Ram School of Higher Education organised an interactive workshop on Memory Tips and Effective Learning Techniques to help students develop better study habits, improve concentration and understand practical methods for remembering information more effectively.

The workshop was designed to introduce students to simple learning strategies that can be incorporated into their everyday academic routine. Instead of focusing only on longer study hours, the session encouraged students to understand how organised learning, concentration and revision can improve academic performance.

During the workshop, students were introduced to techniques such as mind mapping, visual association, keyword-based learning, structured note-making and spaced revision. Interactive activities were conducted to demonstrate how information can be connected with images, concepts and meaningful associations.

The students also participated in memory exercises designed to test observation, concentration and recall. These activities created an engaging learning environment and encouraged students to think about their own learning styles.

Another important part of the workshop focused on planning study schedules. Students were encouraged to divide large topics into smaller sections, revise regularly and take short breaks during longer study sessions. The speakers also discussed the importance of adequate sleep, healthy routines and reducing distractions while studying.

Teachers actively participated in the session and discussed ways in which the techniques could be incorporated into classroom activities. Students were encouraged to experiment with different learning methods and identify the approaches that worked best for them.

The workshop concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session in which students discussed their individual learning challenges.

The programme was appreciated by students and teachers alike. The school plans to organise similar skill-development sessions in the future to support students in developing effective study habits, confidence and independent learning skills.
